Bluefruit Software is an established software company, with 65 people based in the heart of Cornwall. We are a world leader in embedded software, widely regarded for the quality of our code and our Lean-Agile practices. Founded by engineers we have worked hard to create an environment where all our employees can thrive and our clients can rely on our strong understanding of all their software requirements through regular feedback loops.

We use a wide variety of constantly evolving processes to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This includes using special processes such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) to write code.

Are you fascinated by technology? Do you enjoy taking things apart to see how they work? Do you enjoy the logic of engineering and appreciate the quality of something that is well built? Do you achieve satisfaction from finding creative solutions to problems?

We are looking for meticulous and detail orientated people to join us as Software Testers and become a key part of our software teams who deliver high-quality code to our clients. No formal academic qualifications, software skills or previous experience are required but a keen interest in either Computing, Software or Electronics would be highly beneficial. Bluefruit provides an effective training program for the people with the right aptitude.

Bluefruit’s Software Testers work in a small team of Software Engineers and Software Analysts and they provide a continuous and effective testing service. This includes writing reports on test results, reporting defects to the software engineers for correction, creative problem solving and feedback to the team.
